A comic-opera written by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. Based in a traditional fishing village where a young baron is attempting to escape a family curse - he must commit one crime a day or be killed.

Originally to be directed by Hannah Fletcher and James Mitchell, this production was postponed due to the 2021 Lockdown.

The sketches below show the research and development concepts designed for different venues - initially to be recorded in one room, outdoor performance and conventional theatre spaces were discussed. The final concept would allow each performer to have their own platform 2m apart from each other that would be designed specifically for their character, containing all their props. This could be adapted for indoor or outdoor spaces.
